Security Policy Management
Managers can maintain an easy audit trail of employee acknowledgements of company policies. Tracking which employees have read and acknowledged policies is key to ensuring compliance and simplifying audits, but it can be challenging to achieve at scale.
Uploading a Company Policy
To upload a PDF Company Policy document, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the 'Policies' Section.
- Select the managers 'Company Policies tab.
- Click the 'Add Policy' located in the top-right corner.
- Name the 'Policy'.
- Select 'Choose File'.
- Click 'Save'.
Viewing Acknowledged Policies
- Select the Managers 'Company Policies' tab
- Click on the policy you want to view to see the list of acknowledgements.
- Click 'Back' to exit the view.
Viewing Acknowledged Policies
Learners can acknowledge a policy by following these steps:
- Navigate to the ' My Policy' tab.
- Click the 'Acknowledge' button next to the relevant policy.
NOTE: The feature allowing learners to receive automated notifications when new policies are added for acknowledgement is not yet available. However, it's currently in development and is part of our upcoming feature roadmap. We'll provide updates on its release timeline.
In the interim, we recommend that managers communicate directly with learners by sending a general notification email before uploading new policies. Once a policy is assigned to a learner, they can easily access it under their ‘My Policies’ tab. From there, learners can acknowledge the policy, and managers will be able to track the number of acknowledgements versus the total assigned users in the ‘Company Policy’ section.
