Phishing Simulator Basics
What is the Phishing Simulator?
The Phishing Simulator is an important tool to test how vulnerable your organisation is to social engineering attacks. It is also a great way to supplement and test how well Learners are understanding and applying phishing training.
Using the Phishing Simulator, platform managers can build and launch custom campaigns simulating real-world phishing attacks on their Learners. Platform managers select the template(s) they want to deliver, the audience in scope for the campaign, and the time frame in which campaign email will deliver into the inboxes of their Learners.
How to use the Phishing Simulator
Be sure to whitelist our Platform’s domains in your email client before launching a campaign to your organisation, otherwise, the emails may not deliver to your Learners or may end up in their spam folders.
For step-by-step instructions to whitelist this information in your email client, please visit the Whitelisting section of our Help Center. (Note: If you are using additional tools to secure your email client, you may need to whitelist the Security Awareness Platform’s domains in those as well.)
Once you have whitelisted the platform, you will be ready to begin creating a campaign!
After a campaign is completed, summary results can be viewed in a list view from the ‘Phishing’ tab. You can also click on the campaign name to see a more detailed breakdown of the campaign, track attempts on an individual basis, review campaign details, and print reports from the campaign.
If you need help getting started with the platform, see our simple Quick Start Guide.
If you have any questions about creating a campaign or need technical assistance, you can reach out to us on the chatbot and we'll help right away.
