Can't Login to Platform: Get a 'Log Out' Screen

PROBLEM: User attempt to login to platform fails and results in the below 'Log out' screen.

Step 1

Close that tab/open a new browser window and only put https://app.goldphish.com/  in the url bar and press ENTER.

Did that fix the problem?: Sometimes you navigate using a saved url in the bar or one in your bookmarks that contain extra bits after the website's “home address”. Those extra bits can break things like authenticating the user. Please make sure any saved bookmark only have the websites main address in the url https://app.goldphish.com/ .

Did that not fix the problem?: Go to Step 2


Step 2

Close that tab/open a new browser window and only put https://app.goldphish.com/Identity/Account/Login in the url bar and press ENTER.

Step 2a: Do a force refresh

Step 2b: Try logging in again

Did that fix the problem?: There might have been old data preventing you from loading what is needed to successfully authenticate your user in the browser.

Did that not fix the problem?: Go to Step 3


Step 3

If you have another browser installed try logging into the platform using that.

Step 3a: Close the current browser window and open your alternative browser and only put https://app.goldphish.com/ in the url bar and press ENTER.

Step 3b: Try logging in again

Did that fix the problem?: There might be bad data or an extension on your primary browser preventing you from logging in. You will need to investigate clearing all site data (cookies and other site data) on that browser or attempt to find out what extension is preventing successful login.

Did that not fix the problem?: Go to Step 4


Step 4

Try another computer/mobile device AND/OR try connecting from home/work (using another internet connection)

Did that fix the problem?: There might be something on your work/home network that is interfering with your connection to the platform. You might need to talk to your IT professional at work/home to ask if they are using an internet proxy to filter web content on your network.
