Troubleshooting Guide: Can't Login to Platform

Step 1: Check the URL

  • Close the current tab and open a new browser window.
  • Enter https://app.goldphish.com/  directly into the URL bar and press ENTER.

Did that fix the problem?

  • Sometimes, using a saved URL or bookmark with extra parameters can cause authentication issues. Ensure your bookmarks only contain the main website address: https://app.goldphish.com/.

Did that not fix the problem?

  • Go to Step 2

Step 2: Force Refresh

Did that fix the problem?

  • There might have been old data preventing you from loading what is needed to successfully authenticate your user in the browser.

Did that not fix the problem?

  • Go to Step 3

Step 3: Try an Alternative Browser

  • Close the current browser window and open a different browser.
  • Enter https://app.goldphish.com/ in the URL bar and press ENTER.
  • Attempt to log in.

Did that fix the problem?

  • There might be bad data or an extension on your primary browser preventing you from logging in. You will need to investigate by clearing all site data (cookies and other site data) on that browser or attempt to find out what extension is preventing successful login.

  • Go to Step 4

  • Try logging in using a different computer or mobile device.
  • Alternatively, connect from a different network using another internet connection (e.g., from home if you're at work, or vice versa).

Did that fix the problem?

  • There might be something on your work/home network that is interfering with your connection to the platform. You might need to talk to your IT professional at work/home to ask if they are using an internet proxy to filter web content on your network.
