Guide: Phishing Templates Types

A 'Template' in the context of our platform refers to the pre-designed emails you select when creating and launching a  Phishing Campaign.  Our integrated phishing simulator offers a variety of templates, from simple text-only versions to more elaborate ones featuring popular brand names and eye-catching graphics.


Accessing Template

To access and utilise the phishing templates, follow these steps:

  1. Access your Admin dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the 'Phishing' section.
  3. Click on the 'Templates' tab to preview the email templates and their associated landing pages.
  4. Click 'Create Campaign' to start using the templates.

Types of Phishing Email Templates

Our Email Template Library offers three types of phishing email templates:

1. Click-Based Templates

  • Preview: Look for the 'Email' tab when previewing the template.
  • Features: Contains only a hook URL.
  • Process: When a learner clicks the link, they are redirected to complete just-in-time training.
  • Reporting: In your report, learners who fail are reported as 'Clicked.'


2. Attachment-Based Templates

  • Preview: Look for the 'Email' tab when previewing the template.
  • Features: Contains a hook URL.
  • Process: When a learner clicks the link, they are redirected to complete just-in-time training.
  • Reporting: In your report, learners who fail are reported as 'Clicked.'


3. Data (Credential) Based Templates

  • Preview: Look for the 'Landing Page' tab when previewing the template.
  • Features: Leads to a fake(spoof) landing page where users are prompted to enter their credentials for that particular service.
  • Process: When a learner clicks the link and shares information, they are redirected to complete just-in-time training.
  • Reporting: In your report, learners who fail are reported as both 'Clicked' and 'Compromised.'
