How to Set Training Reminder Notifications
Managers can send out a monthly reminder email to active learners who have not completed assigned training within a specified time frame. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to the 'Settings' section.
- Select the top 'Preferences' tab.
- Switch on 'Training Reminders'.
- Choose 'Monthly Recurrence', either the 'First week' or 'Last Week' of the month.
- Choose a specific day for the reminder.
- Set the time that suits your preference.
- Select a 'Time Zone' from the drop-down menu.
- Click 'Save'.
*Once your Training Reminder notification has been set up, the setting will apply across all training campaigns going forward.
How to Preview the Training Reminder Notification Email
- From the 'Settings' section.
- Select the top 'System Emails' tab.
- Choose 'Learner Emails'.
- Click on the 'Learner Training Reminder' email to preview.
Note: The system sends reminders to any learners who have incomplete training, regardless of the campaign’s end date. So even if a campaign is only set up for 2 weeks, and it ends, the reminders will still go out (based on your selected timing - first or last week of the month) until the assigned content is completed by the learner.
The reminder isn’t tied to the campaign timeline itself, but rather to the learner's progress.
If a learner still has a module or video sitting incomplete, they'll keep getting nudged monthly, even if the campaign they were assigned to has long since ended.
