How to Allocate Licenses to Learners

After 'Premium' licenses have been ordered and assigned to your company, it is essential to allocate these licenses to learners. Below are the methods and steps for allocating licenses to both expired and new learners.

How to Allocate New Premium Licenses to Expired Learners

Managers can allocate new licenses to expired learners either manually or by importing a CSV file. Follow these steps:

  • Login to your 'Admin Dashboard.'
  • Navigate to the 'Licenses' section.
  • Select the 'Expired Licenses' section.
  • Select learners for 'Manual Upgrade' or 'Import Allocation'.

Step 1: Select Learners for Manual Upgrade

  • Select learners one by one or click the 'Select All' checkbox.
  • Click 'Allocate Licenses' to proceed

Step 2: Select Learners by CSV

  • Click on the 'Import Licence Renewal' button in the top right.
  • Add your User spreadsheet file. 
  • From the dropdown select the spreadsheet column containing 'Email'.
  • Review the number of learners identified for renewal vs the number of learners identified not being renewed. 
  • Click 'Renew Licences' to proceed.


Allocating Licenses to New Learners

Once 'Premium' licenses are assigned to your company, new learners added to the platform will automatically receive their licenses. Managers need to load the learners onto the platform.

Here’s how:

  • Login and access your  'Admin dashboard'
  • Navigate to the 'Users' section, 
  • Click on the 'Add Users' button located top right corner. Managers will have the choice to:
  1. Manually 'Add User' one at a time,
  2. 'Import Users' in bulk via a CSV file, or 
  3. 'Sync Users' using Active Directory Integration.
