Localisation Guide
Localisation improves your users’ experience by delivering training content, phishing templates, and notifications in their preferred language. The Security Awareness Platform currently supports localisation in 8 languages, with more on the way.
By default, the platform language is set to English (GB). This guide covers how to set your default language and where you can apply localisation in training and phishing campaigns.

How Localisation Works
- Company Default Language: Admins can set a default language for their organisation.
- Partner Default Language: Partner Admins can set a default language that applies across all associated customer accounts.
- Campaign-Level Localisation: Select a different language during campaign creation using the filters in the wizard.
- Template - Level Localisation: Create templates in a different language from the account default
Setting Your Company's Default Language
To update your organisation’s default language:
- Sign in to the Admin Dashboard.
- Go to the Company section.
- Click Actions > Edit Company
- Select your default language from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
*This setting applies across phishing templates, training content, and system notifications (where translations are available).
Note for Partner Accounts: Once updated, your selected language will also apply to all customer companies linked to your Partner account.
Localisation is an ongoing improvement, so there may be some parts of the platform that have not been localised and will be displayed in English (GB).
Localising Training Campaigns
When creating a training campaign, you can filter content by language directly in the campaign wizard.
- In Step: Choose Content, use the Language filter to select content in the desired language.
- The language selected here will apply to:
- Training modules and videos
- System-generated emails (e.g. welcome emails, reminders)

Localising Phishing Campaigns
Language can also be applied when creating phishing simulations.
- In Step: Choose Content, use the Language filter to find phishing templates in your chosen language.
- This applies to:
- Phishing email templates
- Just-in-Time Training pages
- System emails (e.g. reminders, notifications)
Note: When creating a phishing campaign and selecting the Random Template option, ensure that all selected templates are in a language understood by every learner included in the campaign. For example, if you include Spanish templates, all learners should be able to understand Spanish. Using mixed-language templates may result in learners receiving phishing emails they cannot understand.

Creating Localised New Phishing Templates
When creating a new phishing template, you can assign a language that differs from your account's default.
- In the Phishing Language field, select your desired language.
- This ensures the template appears in filtered results when creating campaigns in that language.
*Useful when targeting multilingual learners or regional departments.

Ongoing Updates
Localisation is an ongoing enhancement across the Security Awareness Platform, and new improvements are rolled out regularly.
